COECG has be appointed successful bidder for the Shantou Port Guang'ao District Breakwater Project

    Recently, Shantou Port Authority has announced a joint venture formed by China Ocean Engineering Construction General Bureau and CNFC Guangzhou Harbor Engineering Company as successful bidder for the Shantou Port Guang'ao District Breakwater Project. The wining bid price is 935.119453 million yuan.

    Guang'ao District is a rare natural deep water port of the southeast coast of China. It is a comprehensive port of petrochemical, container and bulk cargo. The mid-term plan covers 39 berths, including main 50,000-ton berth, 10-ton container terminals, refined oil berth, LNG terminals, 15-ton bulk terminal, 30-ton crude oil berth, etc., to meet the needs of the rapid development of international shipping industry.

    This project is the biggest public infrastructure project in Shantou history. In accordance with the design, the total length of breakwater is 8024.80 meters,which includes 6281.8 meters west breakwater and 1743 meters east breakwater.
